Brazil 3-0 Scotland: Vinícius Júnior Double Seals Top Spot in Group C

Brazil cruised to a 3-0 victory over Scotland at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with Vinícius Júnior scoring twice and Richarlison adding a third. The win secured top spot in Group C for the Seleção.

Brazil put in a dominant display to beat Scotland 3-0 in their second group match of the 2026 World Cup at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, securing top spot in Group C with a game to spare.

Vinícius Júnior opened the scoring in the 18th minute, slotting home a through ball from Neymar. He doubled the lead in the 35th minute with a header from Raphinha's cross.

Richarlison added a third in the 62nd minute, heading in from a corner. Brazil controlled the game with 65% possession and 15 shots.

Scotland fought hard but could not find a way past Alisson, managing only three shots on target throughout the match.

Brazil now have six points from two matches, with seven goals scored and none conceded. Scotland remain on three points, while Morocco and Haiti have one point each.

In the final group matches, Brazil face Haiti while Scotland take on Morocco. Scotland still have a chance to advance, needing at least a draw.

Brazil coach Tite praised his team's performance: 'Our defense was solid, and the attack was clinical. We are moving in the right direction.'
